I am a self-motivated scientist turned data analyst. Coming from an R&D background has given me the tools to analyze, synthesize and interpret data. Working cross functionally and developing action plans are part of my routine work days. During my time in the lab, I realized I didn't have a grasp of my experiments from end-to-end, meaning I generated data but didn't know how to work with it. This didn't sit well with me, and I wanted to own my work so I taught myself python, SQL, and worked with programs like Tableau, Looker, and dbt.
Since then, I have been working with the data analytics and business intelligence team to implement my skills and apply them to large-scale health databases. I enjoy manipulating data to help our team make informed decisions. This has propelled me to pursue a career in this field, combining my passions of data and the sciences.
In my free time, you can find me walking my corgi pup, going out for a hike, baking cookies, drawing on my iPad, or reading a thriller novel.
